Other top weeks included the week before Christmas (2nd biggest week), and the week before Labor Day (3rd biggest week).
Top 5 days for New Jersey retail businesses
Mother's Day shopping was responsible for the biggest day of the year, and a total of two of the top five days of the year overall. The holiday shopping season was also big for retailers in New Jersey, accounting for the 2nd and 3rd biggest days of the year, while Valentine's Day shopping was enough to make the most romantic day of the year New Jersey's 5th biggest shopping day.
