March was the biggest month of the year overall, and 6 of the top 10 shopping weeks of the year fell during the spring break season (late February through early April). While March may have been the biggest month of the year, the holiday shopping season was responsible for the single-biggest week of the year for Louisiana retailers: December 16th through the 22nd.
