What days of the week are retail shops in Florida busiest?

Among transacting businesses, Saturday was the busiest day of the week in terms of foot traffic, with Florida retail businesses processing an average of 17 transactions per day.
Floridians spend more per transaction on weekdays, with Tuesdays claiming the largest average ticket size of the week at $88.28 per ticket. Locals are the most frugal on Sundays, when they spent an average of $30.48 less than on Tuesdays.

Spring break was huge for businesses in the the Sunshine State. March was the biggest month of the year overall, and 7 of the top 10 shopping weeks of the year fell during the spring break season (late February through early April). While March may have been the biggest month of the year overall, the holiday shopping season was responsible for the single-biggest week of the year for Florida retailers: December 16th through the 22nd.

The holiday shopping season was also responsible for the biggest day of the year, as well as a total of two of the top five days of the year overall. Mother's Day shopping was also big for retailers in Florida, coming in as the third biggest shopping day of the year.
