What days of the week are busiest for Louisiana restaurants?

While March may have been the biggest month of the year overall, Mother's Day was responsible for the single-biggest week of the year for Louisiana restaurants: May 6th through the 12th.

The Saturday before Mardi Gras was the biggest day of the year for Louisiana restaurants from a single-day perspective, while the Friday before was the 5th biggest day. Each of the rest of the top days of the year were during the months of March and April.

Methodology
Womply analyzed daily revenue for over 36,000 restaurants in all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, for all 365 days of the 2019 calendar year. Restaurants were only included in the analysis if they qualified as small businesses, Womply had a full year of transaction history, and the business recorded multiple transactions per day, on average.
