In 2017, restaurant sales on Cinco de Mayo increased 34 percent compared to a normal day, and on Mother’s Day sales were up 48 percent in Arizona, according to a new report by business management software company Womply.
Womply’s data comes from analyzing transactions at 26,000 small, independent restaurants in all 50 states during every day of the 2017 calendar year.
In Arizona, Cinco and Mother’s Day bring in more revenue for restaurants than Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve and the Super Bowl, according to Womply.
