We have one of the most colorful and diverse teams in Silicon Valley. Building a diverse team feels good and makes Womply a more interesting place to work, but it’s also good for business. We’ve invested early in culture, people, and process to create a place where high performers can thrive regardless of their background, gender, race, country of origin, or religion. Our investments in culture and professional development make our people more effective and satisfied, which has many positive effects for our business.

We invest time and money to recruit candidates with diverse backgrounds

We have open and candid conversations about getting diverse candidates into our hiring funnel. We cast a wide net for talent so we can hire better quality candidates, faster. Our already diverse team tends to refer diverse candidates for consideration and our recruiters and hiring managers actively seek diverse candidates who may offer unique, new perspectives. We believe a diverse team helps us build better products for our diverse customers. There’s much more outreach for us to do but we’re committed to choosing from under-represented groups to find the best talent.

We apply the same high standards during our interview and selection process to all candidates for a given position

We are creating high performance teams made up of passionate individuals. As such we evaluate candidates to determine who is most likely to deliver results and we apply those standards uniformly across applicants and interviewees. We consider cultural fit with particular emphasis on alignment with our values. We don’t trivialize this issue, because it’s very important and hard to get right.

We expect to hire working mothers and fathers so we have policies that anticipate those hires.
