Q: When should retailers start preparing for the upcoming holiday season?
A: This holiday season, consumers are planning to start shopping early (so you should start planning now) and they’re looking for deals. In fact, 60 percent of consumers plan to start shopping both online and at brick-and-mortar retailers before Black Friday.
Q: Why is social media so important when it comes to a holiday marketing strategy?
A: Because holiday shopping is just as social as it is digital. Having a strong online presence and an effective holiday social media marketing strategy will set you apart from your competitors and get your customers engaged with you this holiday season and keep your business top of mind!
Q: What one thing should retailers do today to start getting ready for the holidays?
A: Stay present online. Engage with your customers (current and future), use user-generated content this season, and make sure to respond to your reviews on your review sites and engage in the comments on your social media sites.
