Jaime is an amazing woman, let me just start with that. She has been so patient, nurturing, and helpful to me over the past 2 years. I have worked with therapists before, but I have never felt a connection with one in the way that I did with Jaime. My mom has always tried to convince me that I should talk to someone because I have dealt with depression since a pretty young age, and it had only progressed over the years. I was never excited about the idea and always thought I would be just fine dealing with my problems by myself in my own way. Finally, after losing numerous friends to street violence, suicide, freak accidents, and illness, I found myself in a downward spiral that I just could not find my way out of. Once I was clinically diagnosed with alcoholism and PTSD, and prescribed various medications for depression, I knew that it was time I seek out help. Somehow, by the grace of God I came into contact with this woman. I could tell from the first day I met with her that she genuinely took an interest in me and wanted to see me get better and grow. She made me think about things I never would have outside of meeting with her, and we played with different methods of dealing with anxiety and depression that I have never seen or heard of elsewhere. Overall I trust Jaime, and that is HUGE for me. She helped me in so many ways, and managed to talk me through some things that I never thought I could recover from. I'm not going to say it was easy or fun, but what I can say, wholeheartedly, is that it was refreshing and I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. So I give her 5 stars and would give her more if there were a higher rating. She has been a delight to work with even in the hardest times, and she has definitely helped me make improvements in my day to day life. You're the best Jaime!!! Thank you for everything!!!
