Mark Smith leads Womply’s sales and sales operations functions.
Mark joined Womply in 2017 and led the Core sales division to record sales volume and efficiency. Under Mark’s leadership, Womply’s paid customer base grew past 100,000, with the quality of each sale improving on the basis of critical metrics. In addition to growing and optimizing the Core division, Mark spends a majority of his time building the new Engage and Boost divisions.
Prior to Womply, Mark spent 10+ years leading sales and operations in software, home security, and renewable energy industries, generating nearly $1 billion in new revenue. Mark’s expertise is in growing sales organizations not just through adding headcount, but through continually optimizing every step of the sales funnel from lead generation through onboarding.
In his limited free time, Mark advises multiple tech startups and has acted as a growth consultant for more than a dozen sales organizations. Mark is also active on social media, providing leadership insights to young professionals and advocating for an infusion of more diverse talent in the sales profession.
Mark lives in South Jordan, Utah with his wife of 15 years and 6-year-old son.
