VP of Brand & Communications
Brad Plothow leads marketing and communications at Womply. He and his team are charged with supporting revenue growth, communicating the value of Womply’s products, and building the Womply brand into a household name.
One of Womply’s first marketing and communications hires, Brad has been building the Brand & Communications department from the ground up since early 2017. Under his direction, Womply has expanded its functional competencies to include product marketing, content marketing, partner marketing, integrated communications, and design.
Prior to Womply, Brad was a Partner and Executive Vice President at Method Communications, the Holmes Report’s 2016 Tech Agency of the Year. At Method, Brad built and maintained the agency’s largest book of business and was the senior strategist for some of the agency’s most iconic integrated marketing and communications campaigns for tech startups and venture capital firms. His clients included Qualtrics ($8 billion acquisition by SAP), Pluralsight (Nasdaq: PS), Vivint ($2 billion acquisition by Blackstone), Instructure (NYSE: INST), Bessemer Venture Partners, and dozens more.
Brad has been enamored with small businesses ever since his frequent visits to the ice cream shop his grandparents owned and operated—and parents, aunts, and uncles worked at—during his youth. He always roots for the underdog and is passionate about helping small businesses thrive.
Brad has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications and an MBA with an emphasis in management. He lives in Lehi, Utah with his wife and 4 children.
