US Merchant Systems, an ISO serving more than 100,000 businesses, is providing data analytics to customers through Womply Insights.
The product, from San Francisco-based Womply, gives merchants access to performance indicators about their business with a grading scale and analytics on revenue and transactions, social media and online reputation, the companies said in a press release.
With Insight, merchants see how they compare with similar businesses in their geographic area, enabling them to make informed decisions about how to modify their business, the release said.
Insight typically sells for $108 per merchant per year, but US Merchant Systems customers receive it for free, according to the release.
“Insights is already being used in our telemarketing, national sales and customer support organizations as a valuable tool to acquire new merchants and also to retain existing customers,” Sebastian Alongi, the Fremont, Calif.-based ISO’s vice president, said in the release.
Womply created Insights for offline merchants that have been unable to take advantage of technology available to online merchants, Jeremy Richardson, Womply’s co-founder, said in the release.
“We’ve developed our products as cloud-based solutions so there is no need for new hardware or software and no change in behavior is required on behalf of the merchant or their employees,” Richardson said.
